Deep Tissue Pain Therapy - Manufacturer and Distributor of Medical Devices
Biowave's BiowavePRO® and BiowaveHOME® neuromodulation pain therapy medical devices, utilizing either Biowave Noninvasive Electrodes or Biowave Percutaneous Electrodes, deliver a patented therapeutic electrical signal into deep tissue in the body which blocks the transmission of pain and improves function. Biowave's neuromodulation pain therapy systems treat joint or muscular related chronic, acute or post-surgical pain in the neck, shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, hand, low back, hip, leg, knee, ankle and feet without harmful side effects. Pain management medical devices: BiowavePRO BiowavePRO is a professional medical device used to block pain and facilitate motion in commercial settings including pain clinics, sports medicine clinics, hospitals, physical and occupational therapy, athletic training, and chiropractic locations. Homewave Homewave is a home prescription medical device used by patients at home to manage their pain on an as needed basis. A 30 minute treatment can provide up to 24 hours of continued pain relief and improved function.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been working in the medical device field for many years both on the investment banking side as well as on the corporate side. I had a concept for a new electrical signal technology that could pass through skin and create a new set of signals inside the body optimized for blocking the transmission of pain signals. This is what led me to start Biowave.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Biowave's technology produces far better treatment outcomes than any other electrical stimulation modality. Pain relief is better, far longer lasting, the treatment is much more comfortable than any other system and our device is far simpler to use - there is no programming, and it is battery operated and easily portable.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
