In the beginning, the principle was simple: every kid deserves the chance to be a kid. But, what no one expected was the profound effect that simply having fun could have. In their short time at camp, the children learn to reach beyond their illnesses and discover new strength, hope and resilience. All while having some SeriousFun!!
It started over two decades ago when Paul Newman created a place where children with serious illnesses could go to simply have fun. Today, that idea has grown to include 29 life-changing camps and programs serving over 50,000 children and families every year. Together, we are committed to spreading the joy of camp to as many people around the world as possible.
